This 160 year old 2 bedroom cottage is situated alongside a small brook in the rural north Gower village of LLanmorlais. The inside has been modernised to provide comfortable accommodation for  families of up to 6. 

Fall asleep to the sound of our stream

There are two bedrooms: 1st bedroom is double,  2nd bedroom has a double and a single. There’s also a sofa bed downstairs for so 6 people can stay.

The cottage has central heating throughout and the lounge has a wood-burning stove, Freeview TV and a DVD player.  At the rear the kitchen opens onto the garden with a patio seating area.  The ample kitchen facilities include dishwasher, double oven, 5 burner hob, microwave/grill, fridge, freezer,  and a washing machine/dryer.  The first floor family bathroom has a shower and separate bath. There’s a second w/c on the ground floor.

It’s a great location for Walking, Cycling, Bird watching, and more see activities

Dog friendly

We are dog-friendly but as it’s a sheep farming area dogs need to be kept under close control.

Pubs, shops & more

By road it’s 0.6 miles to the Crofty Inn (with good food) and to a small general store (morning papers, selection of groceries, freshly baked items and pet foods).  The store also has a Post Office.  1.5 miles to the village of  Penclawdd, there is a supermarket with cafe, a Pharmacy, Doctor and Dentist.  2.5 miles to the village of Llanrhidian, there’s the The Dolphin Inn pub, Heronsway Service Station and shop and a fine dining restaurant called The Welcome to Town which has 2 AA Rosettes.
